About Databay

Databay sells rotating proxies. Founded 2022, headquartered in Wyoming. The network is 34 million residential IPs from real users who opted in through a partner app and are paid for the bandwidth they share, plus 80 thousand datacenter IPs and 800 thousand mobile carrier IPs across 200+ countries. Pricing is $0.50 a gigabyte, the same number whether you scrape London or Lagos.

What we sell, how we price it

Most proxy vendors don't publish their real prices. The numbers on the homepage are a starting point; the rate you actually pay shows up after a sales call, varies by country, and depends on what your purchasing department can argue down. We don't do that. The price on /proxies is the price you pay, anywhere we ship traffic, with no surcharge for the harder-to-source markets.

What we sell is access to the public web from a lot of different IP addresses. The customers who actually care: researchers checking how a paywall renders for a Berlin reader. E-commerce teams price-monitoring competitors that block datacenter ranges. Ad-verification firms confirming a Mexican campaign actually delivered to Mexican IPs. Security analysts pulling threat intel from regions where their corporate IP is geo-blocked. The proxies are the tool. The access pattern is the product.

We bet on three things mattering more than they look. Transparent supply: every residential IP comes from a real user who opted in to a partner app and is paid in real money for the bandwidth they share. Predictable pricing: one rate card, no per-country surcharge, no negotiated tier (because if we negotiated we'd have to charge full price to someone else first). Fast time-to-first-request: signup to working proxy URL inside five minutes. The first two we feel good about. The third we still want lower.

Ethical Sourcing & Compliance

Every residential IP we sell comes from a real user who installed a partner app, read an opt-in screen written in plain language, and is paid in real money (not free trial credit) for the bandwidth they share. We don't route traffic through users who didn't actively say yes. Our Acceptable Use Policy explicitly bars credential stuffing, piracy, fraud-as-a-service, CSAM, and a long tail of other abuse patterns. Customers agree to the AUP before they can place an order.

Abuse complaints land in a dedicated Trust & Safety inbox monitored by people, not a triage queue. The full AUP, refund policy, and our KYC/AML stance are published in the Legal Documents section; nothing is gated behind a sales call.
